Headlights, HID, Blue Lights

I too am confused by the new "HID simulated" headlights.  I have the H1 low beams, 9006 (55 W) are my fog lights and the 9005 are my high beams (65 w).

I picked up some from E-Bay... here is what I found.

Back in 2005 people were buying bulbs, adding a blue tint, and reselling on E-bay.  They are crap.

In 2010 the replacement HID bulbs.  They they flickered after a year.

In 2015 they came out with LED bulbs, but required fans in them.  They lasted two years, the fan would fail, then burn out the circuits to run the bulb.
