Mamiya 35mm Camera Price Information
With the rapid
growth of the digital market the recent prices for old, non-prestige,
film cameras has declined in many areas. The following table describes
recent average U.S. dollar prices for working Mamiya 35mm cameras
(it also includes the original 120-film, medium-format Mamiya-6 folders).
This reference only considers cameras found to be in the very good
category, or better, for both cosmetic appearance and functionality
(see table link below). This table was last updated January 16,
2010.

Price Guide to Antique and Classic Cameras © September

or one of several online subscription services. It should be understood
that the prices listed are only averages taken from a statistically
significant number of auctions, and cameras will be found that sell
for much more (or much less) than the listed average, depending on
the mood of the buyer and seller at any given moment. No actual selling
price is either implied or guaranteed.
Conditions Affecting Camera Value
I believe collectible cameras should be judged on
a combination of cosmetic condition and functionality. I also know
that people value cameras in distinct and different ways. For instance,
a camera in mint cosmetic condition, but not functioning, may be perfectly
acceptable to a collector. On the other hand, a user
may not care much about the appearance of the camera, as long as it
works well. Link to my General
Rating Table for my descriptions for both cosmetic value
and functionality of used cameras.
