The later model (with blue cover)
that only as 1/500 as the fastest shutter
and the DOF preview lever is on the lens as well as
a slot in the center of the
shutter speed dial.
This model looks more like the Fv model,
that has a 1/1000 top shutter
speed.
That shutter dial was removed to allow a
drop-on meter system to lock on the
camera.

<The Late Miranda F had an altered shutter-speed dial to allow it to be used
with the snap-on meter for the G and Fv.
Not sure why it had to drop
down in speed. It has been described as an “economy model sold in the
U.K.”>
